~Llamas at Tanderum~
Llamas
are
elegant, proud and haughty!
They are also calm and calming. Related to camels, alpacas, guanaco and vicuna
- they are the horse of the camelid species. For thousands of years in South
America they have been used to carry loads and more recently have been used
in the Western world for hiking expeditions to carry all the gear. Their soft
leather padded feet and gentle tread makes them environmentally friendly pack
carriers.
We have 8 llamas (all gelded males) who all have their individual looks and personality and all will provide you with a different sort of companionship while carrying your gourmet lunch.
